Choose one of two approaches:

Approach 1     S-P-S-R (System based): System, Problem, Solution, Response

1. Write a brief on your FYP from two standpoints:

a. Application for end users        b.Back-end

• Identify system parts, relate to ethical issues and present as problem and solutions.

Approach 2    One contemporary ethics issue from Outside Sources (analyse for key findings and apply to your project - on 1 or 2 issues)

1. Relate your FYP to an ethical issue based on an "outside source" - journal article, courses or something you can reference.

2. Analyse and find 2 key findings.

3. Apply the 2 key findings as problem and solutions to you own work.

Outline and plan before your write:

1. Project Brief: a. application for end-users b. back-end (provide both a and b from the view of a system developer)

2. System Parts relevant to your analysis for vulnerability and mitigation

3. Apply ethical issues to your chosen system part

4. Present ethical issues, identify problems and provide solutions – solution engagement is important.

Consider Professional Codes of Conduct:

1. Refer to HKIE, WFEO, GDPR, UNESCO AI, Open Source or ACM etc (or a professional code of your choice).

2. You can write these references as footnote – they do not have to be included in the body of your essay.
